Third Party Fundraising Events

A third-party fundraising event is any activity by a non-affiliated group or individual where the Bay Area Humane Society has no monetary responsibility and little or no staff involvement. We are happy to help you get started. Listed below are just some ideas of what people have done in the past. If you have a new idea or plan for an event that will benefit the Humane Society, please contact Jan Niec at 469-3110, Ext. 111 or admin@bayareahumanesociety.com. Or you can simply download the contract and email or fax to Jan as well. 

Some possible fundraising ideas that you could do: 

  • Bake sale
  • Garage sale
  • Car Wash
  • Lemonade Stand
  • Host a 5K run/walk or other sporting event where a portion of the proceeds go to BAHS
  • Donation barrels at work for wishlist items needed at the shelter
  • Sell dog or cat treats
  • Birthday party with gifts going to BAHS
  • Holiday party with suggested donation to BAHS
  • Silent auction or raffle with proceeds to BAHS
  • Chili cook-off for donations per entry or vote to BAHS
  • Penny (loose change) War
