Here at Bay Area Humane Society, each animal enjoys kind and fair treatment. Each animal is considered as a creature with the right to freedom from pain and fear. Each animal gets the fullest chance possible to find a loving owner and be part of a happy household.
We could not approach our work that way if it were not for the support of the people in the community; people like you who love animals, and who act responsibly with those in their care. Donations keep the doors of our shelter open and ensure that there is heat for the animals and lighting for the building. Every BAHS program depends on our compassionate community!

1. Please educate your friends and families to NEVER buy cats or dogs from pet stores or backyard breeders. Breeders who care about their animals do not sell to pet stores.
2. Adopt a pet (or two!) or refer others to BAHS for their next pet.
3. Direct donations of Kuranda beds, cleaning supplies, etc. See an up-to-date "wishlist" on our home page.
4. Monetary donations. We are an official 501c3 non-profit, all donations are tax-deductible! You can donate securely on-line or mail a check to 1830 Radisson St., Green Bay, WI 54302.

5. We are linked with iGive which donates a percentage of online sales from major businesses to registered causes. You can do this by going to iGive.com and we could receive as much as 26% of your purchase.

The Bay Area Humane Society & Animal Shelter, Inc. is funded entirely with private contributions. Many people don't realize that we do not obtain funding from city, state, or federal governments, nor do we receive funds from national animal welfare organizations such as The Humane Society of the United States or ASPCA. On an annual basis, we care for over 5,000 animals.
