We love to hear stories about our past BAHS alumni!
Do you have an animal you adopted from BAHS? We would love to hear how your new family member is doing! Feel free to comment on our facebook page or email us at email@example.com. We will share some of your stories!
1 year ago I was chosen by this big lug of a guy, Manford. He is the silliest cat and has brought much laughter and joy to our home. For him being such a big guy you would think that he would have a deep meow...nope, he squeaks when he talks!! Hence one of his nicknames, Mr. Squeakers! Thank you to Bay Area Humane Society for taking such good care of him until he could find his forever home here with us!!

Better late than never, but, we adopted Lacy (previously Bella) a year and a half ago. She was 3 months old and oh so cute... she has been so amazing, sweet, cuddly, and smart! I grew up with dogs so she was perfect. My husband was petrified.... he had never had a pet before, but I convinced him (by bringing Lacy home after work) that it would be okay! Although we have gone though out rough patches and puppy phases (aka opening all our Christmas presents for us and deciding pillows/all stuffed objects are her enemy) she has been amazing. Also I'm pretty sure she loves my husband more than me now.....
Thank you for all do do!!! Here are some pics of our furbaby!

And here's Ned! Adopted from you guys in June 2016!! Talk about one amazing dog! Never did I think I'd own a pit, but he is one of the best dogs and a little girls best friend!!! He loves fetch and tug-a-war! He loves his little brother Archie too! Thank you humane society for a great adoption!

This beautiful girl was adopted from BAHS one year ago yesterday! I know this isn't a picture of us with Lacy (formerly Prentice); however, this is one of my favorites...her snuggled up in a blanket with her head resting on my chest. She is our Lacy Grace, our L.G., our Love Bug, our Wild Child, and our Bed Hog, and she healed our hearts after the loss of our beloved pittie, Molly. She wasn't the dog we came in anticipating to adopt, but she was the one we needed! Thank you, BAHS, for giving us the opportunity to be moms to this amazing girl!

Celebrating Zippin and Pippin's first birthday today. We adopted the bonded pair in June 2016 from BAHS and now have a large kennel on our front porch to safely watch the birds and other critters in the yard.

We adopted Radio yesterday and are absolutely smitten with him. We will update again once he settles in. Thank you so much for having the wonderful staff that you do. Their help choosing the best fit for our family was something I wasn't expecting. It was a great experience!

Bootstrap is now Barnaby Jones, and he's doing great in his new home! His brother, Vegas (another BAHS alumni) is warming up to him more and more every day.
Thank you, Bay Area Humane Society, for the opportunity to bring this lovely little dude into my home! He's a snuggler like none other, and I sure am glad he's mine!

This is Copper Pickles Crabb, also known previously as Skippy. We adopted him almost 3 weeks ago. He is settling in, tho still very, very shy and scared of many things. But that's ok, it's part of what drew him to Jim and I. We love him so much already.

This is Storm...I adopted her on Tuesday, July 25, 2027. (Her name was Geneva). She has adapted to her new home beautifully. She loves to EAT,SLEEP, AND PLAY HARD. In this pic, she is at our cabin near Tipler, Wi. She is an absolute delight. Thank you so much for working with us. I can't describe how happy we are to have her in our lives.

Karen (Stella) sleeps her Sunday away curled up like a wooly caterpillar. She used to only sleep on the floor...I've convinced her that couches are better. She is the sweetest thing❤️ to explain: her head is the middle, her tail & back legs on the outside. She also snores!
